I am a working mom of one with a serious case of wanderlust. I love good food, good wine, and sharing these things with friends and family. I am the kind of person who always applies sunscreen to my face but constantly forgets to cover my arms with spf. I would wear yoga pants every day, although I only ever do Zumba on YouTube in the privacy of my living room. I am the sort of person who will wait at an intersection for a crossing pedestrian until they are have completely reached the sidewalk.
At the same time, I am just trying to figure out this whole parenting thing. I don’t have any expectations except to keep making an effort every day to teach her the things she needs to know.
I believe in family vacations that our kid can enjoy, but my husband and I still get to relax at the end of the day. Before we had our daughter, my husband and I traveled all over the world, to enrich our understanding of others. We travel to expose our daughter and ourselves to new experiences which we hope will help teach her a bit of empathy and kindness. For more on Why I Travel with My Toddler, check out the blog posts.
I hope we can discuss these experiences with you and would love to hear your family travel experiences and ways to share kindness!
